Enhance the value and vibrancy of your printed pieces with the Ultra 200 PRO UV Coater.
Simple to use and compact in size, the Ultra 200 PRO applies a high quality gloss or satin finish to a wide range of offset and digitally-printed applications, enhancing the richness of its colors while protecting them from scratches and scuffing. Ideal for short to medium runs, the Ultra 200 PRO accommodates a variety of paper sizes from 8.5” x 11” to 21” x 30” and stocks between 170 – 500 gsm.
The Ultra 200 PRO also comes with the SF-300 Suction Feeder as standard for feeding high volume jobs and features innovative technology for coating both sides of the sheet with a smear-free finish. Print providers can offer double the value by coating both sides of direct mailers, brochures, business cards, book covers, and much more!
Setting up jobs on the Ultra 200 PRO is fast and easy. Coating speed, pump speeds, cleaning and IR functions are all set from the key pad. The coating volume and roller gap can be adjusted in 0.1mm increments using the two calibration dials. Additionally, the Ultra 200 PRO offers:
The SF-300 Suction Feeder minimizes reloading and increases productivity. Jobs can also be hand fed for shorter runs. With a 7.5” stack capacity, the SF-300 utilizes an air suction feeding system that feeds from the top of the stack to reduce marking on the sheets. The feeder automatically sets the gap between each sheet to ensure no sheets overlap while the double feed detection ensures the coating process stops when two or more sheets have been fed.
The Ultra 200 PRO offers unique capabilities for coating both sides of the document without any additional adjustments required. The applicator and impression rollers engage only at the start and end of the sheet, ensuring a smear-free, clean finish on both sides. The rollers automatically disengage when there is no sheet or when not in use, preventing any indentations or flat spots on the roller or the print.
The Ultra 200 PRO is both CE and UL certified and provides the utmost safety throughout the entire process with detection sensors in place for paper jams, over heating, open safety cover, and low coating. As the sheets are cured by the UV lamp and delivered into the exit tray, the UV lamp’s ventilation draws out heat from the main chamber providing safe operating temperatures at all times.
When operation is finished, simply select the Auto Clean function and lift the internal drip tray out. Used coating is automatically removed from all three application rollers and deposited into the cleaning container. The Auto Purge function removes the coating from the pipes, minimizing cleaning times, cleaning solution consumption, and coating contamination.
